Smith - Edna Hallett

Edna HALLETT, daughter of Jackson and Mary Hallet, was born Aug 8, 1879. Her mother three brothers and one sister having crossed over to that shining strang. Earlier in life Edna accepted Christ as her savior and always lived a consistent Christian life, always cheerful and willing to lend a helping hand. She was married to Charley SMITH on May 5, 1900. To brighten and bless this happy home were born 3 children; Arlie, Alvah and Virgle. As a girl Edna was bright, jovial and kind hearted. She made friends wherever she went, as to know her was to love her. As she grew into womanhood, her bright happy companionship endeared her more to friends and loved ones. She departed this life April 15, 1915 at the age of 35 years 6 months and 7 days. She leaves to mourn, a husband, 3 children, one sister, a father and step mother and a host of friends. -- kbz
